Oct. 5th, 2008 03:33 pmMy body hates me. I'm now convinced of this.
While the "downstairs" trouble is well and truly gone (can I get a hallelujah?), it would appear that, while my defenses were otherwise occupied, some nasty little nastiness snuck into my tonsils. Well, tonsil really. The left one. It's been swollen and painful for the last several days. And we are now celebrating the return of the fever. So far the worst I've measured it as is 100.6, and I'm hoping to keep it down. I have to work tomorrow after all.
ETA:
Mind you, it's roughly 60°F right now, so it's nowhere near cold. But this is what I've had to resort to, courtesy of the chills associated with the above-mentioned fever, to keep from shivering so hard I look like Michael J. Fox.

Apologies for the lack of acceptable lighting, but I'm not getting up to turn on the lights right now.
Yes, that is a Seahawks beanie. Shyaddup. The burka is in actuality a nice, warm, fuzzy, gray/black plaid fleece bathrobe.
And I'm still cold. :/
