(no subject)

Well, I'm still alive.

We did lose power some time last night. It came back on shortly before 4 am.

Unfortunately, that also means we have no water right now.

You see, the water for the house is drawn off a well via an electric pump.

The pump for this house is broken, so we've been "borrowing" off my sister's house down below through a garden hose. So when the power went out, that meant the hose had to be disconnected. And I have no idea if they've turned the pump back on yet or not, so I can't even make coffee. :(

I also can't take a shower, so that means no getting dressed and taking pics of the mess outside until later. Cuz it's way too cold, way too windy, and way too deep for me to go tromping out there in my slippers again.

I was going to just tack this onto my previous post, but I decided it'd probably be easier to just make a new post.

So, here are some lovely pictures of the morning after. It's still blowing to beat hell outside, and we're expecting more snow over the next few days. Should prove interesting.
