Well, they work. I have this semi-perpetual feeling like there's an eyelash in my left eye, but I had that feeling in both eyes most of the day yesterday, so I'm assuming it's just part of the normal post-op irritation. I have to put moisturizing drops in both eyes every hour for the next few days, and every 2 hours for the next couple of weeks after that. I also have antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drops I have to use 4 times a day for the next 4 days. I have these funky sleeping goggles I have to wear for the first week, I guess to keep me from rubbing my eyes in my sleep/when I first wake up. And oh, how I want to rub.
After wearing glasses for literally half my life, it's kind of strange to be sitting here on the computer, watching TV, and seeing everything just fine without wearing glasses.
I wanted to post pics, but for some strange reason I can't send pics from my phone. Suffice to say, my eyes are a little puffy, and they have a few big red spots. Normal bruising from the microkeratome. I look a bit like I just got into it with a prize fighter. If AT&T ever stops being twatwaffles, I'll put up the pics of myself I took yesterday and today.
My day-after appointment is in roughly an hour. They should release me to go back to life as usual.
My savings account may never forgive me, however. It looks so pathetic and empty now. *sob*
*EDIT* My eyes check out. I am now cleared to resume driving and all my other regular activities. I'm just shy of 20/20 vision now. This is so awesome!
*SON OF EDIT* Finally got the phone issue sorted out. Pics ahoy!
This was last night. I don't know if you can tell, but my eyes were sooooooooooo irritated and watery. All I wanted to do was lay down with them closed.

You can't see the bloody bruises in my eyes, but you can definitely see the puffiness.

First pair of non-prescription sunglasses in 16+ years.

Now I have to get used to the sight of myself with a naked face again. XD
