Of all places, I managed to catch a cold in the freakin hospital. Teach me to sleep on a shitty cot under a drafty window. *sniffffffffffff*

We got to bring Mary home this afternoon. She's doing pretty good. She can't get around very well as yet, but she is able to get up and "walk." It's more of a waddling stagger than walking, but it's movement. They gave her some pretty good pain pills too. I can't recall the name off the top of my head, but apparently they're really potent. As long as they work, that's all I care about. She's doing a lot of sleeping, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, she's confined to the couch for at least the next few days. The bedroom is upstairs, and stairs are on her "nuh uh" list. Nevermind the fact that the bed is a good 3 feet off the ground. At least I don't have to worry about her taking over the bed. *smirk*

Thanks to everyone who sent out any kind of good vibe/prayer/happy thought type things. Don't stop just cuz she's out of the land of the nurse. One can never get too many happy thoughts directed at them. :)
