I have never heard of this before.

Since when does a temp service send people out to interview with their clients? Isn't that kind of what the temp services are for, to weed out the undesirables and send the properly qualified candidates for the job?

My temp service has called me twice this week, asking if I wanted to be "submitted" to two different clients for interviews. WTF??

Regardless, I have an interview for a freaking temp assignment (WTF!?!?!?) Wednesday morning.

I really don't understand this.

Your temp service has failed its performance review.

Either that, or it is a contract house in disguise.

I don't think it's a contract house. Express is a pretty well known temp service, I think they just do it this way for big big clients. I now have two interviews through them, one for Regence Blue Shield and one for Pierce Transit, the county bus system. The last job they sent me to they didn't have me interview for, and I'd bet it was because it was for a smaller company.

It does seem almost like they're little more than a glorified recruiting company though. But if they put money in my bank account, I'm happy.

Confused, but happy.
