Along with a few accessories. Total cost: roughly $389. And I'm not done shopping yet. I still want to get a couple more little things.
This is the first Christmas in the 8+ years we've been together I've had enough money to buy her something decent. And it better be the first Christmas she's actually surprised on Christmas morning when she starts with the unwrapping, or I'm going to beat her to death with the bow.
She had me walk around Target the other night, pointing out things I want. I pointed to Animaniacs vols. 1 and 2 on DVD, the DVD of Disney's Robin Hood, a few Garfield DVDs, and a collector's set of all the Superman movies, including the new one and the (drool inducing) Donner cut of Superman II. All in a nice little tin. I'll bet I get that one just because of the tin. The wife's a sucker for collectible tins.
Oh, and I pointed to a couple of guitars. I really really really wanna learn how to play. I'm not so sure about getting that one though.
Okay, I gotta get back to the whole decorating the tree thing. It looks a little odd to have this naked tree with presents under it.
