dr_trannySo, I'm at my Dad's place. Well, technically it's my Grandparents' place, but he's been living here for the last several years taking care of them (up until a couple of years ago when my Grandfather died; now he takes care of my Grandmother). His house is about 50 yards down, where my baby sister and her husband and son live. Dad's place has DSL, with your basic hardwored modem. Sister's place either has DSL or broadband (not really sure which), but wireless. I'm now happily connected to sis's wireless, so I should be able to have access to all the internets I can stand. I wish I'd known this earlier in the week. I've been going through serious innernets withdrawls here.
I'm still not entirely set up here. Most of my stuff is sitting in the carport, including a shitload of electronics that probably should come in for no other reason than to prevent the growth of legs and the wandering off of several hundred dollars' worth of goodies. It's gonna take a while to get totally settled in. And I need to rework my resume slightly to reflect my new address and such.
*sigh*
Am I stupid/crazy for hoping I'll get a phone call from a certain someone to the effect of "I made a huge mistake"?
Yeah, thought so.
Okay, I have Pogo challenges to do.
