Because of all the recent upheaval 'round these parts, I've taken a preemptive measure to set up shop on another journaling type network.

ETA: This , as well as the whole "adults only" flagging thing, are what have prompted me to take this step. Things are getting really weird around here all of a sudden.

I need to start doing that myself (find a new home in case things don't go over well with our new leaders).

I wish there was a way to save your entire journal, with everything from layout to comments and entries kept in its original form only off-line. I've had my LJ since 2003, I've documented a lot of stuff I don't want to lose.

I know what you mean. Even if I do entirely pull up stakes, I can't imagine just bahleeting this journal. I think I've had my LJ since '03 too. It's like that ratty pair of jeans you just can't bear to throw out. Old and comfy and familiar, even if you know you'll never actually wear them again. *le sigh*
