So I've decided what I'm going to spend my income tax refund on this year. Well, depending on how much I actually get back from those money-grubbing bastards. Depending on how much my refund is, and how expensive it ends up being, I'm going to look into having my eyes zapped into compliance.
I'm tired of glasses. I'm tired of having to put the damn things on just to see whether that fluffy thing I just stepped on while stumbling to the bathroom at 3 am is a cat or a towel. I'm tired of having to try and see around the scratches and gouges in my lenses. I'm tired of having to live with the same old pair of scratched and gouged glasses because to replace the fuckers would probably cost something around $500-$600 thanks to a lack of insurance. And I figure for the price of two pair of glasses (one for regular and one for Z0MGBRIGHTLIGHTWHATISTHATTHINGINTHESKYITBURNSUSPRECIOUSSSSSSSS) I can not have to deal with that shit.
The last time I had an eye exam I was told by the optometrist that I was an "ideal candidate" for LASIK. Granted, that was a couple/three years ago, and pre-T. I've heard anecdotal evidence that T can alter your eyes, but I haven't noticed any changes in my vision in the last 2 1/2 years.
On a somewhat related note, anyone out there know if I need to contact my old employer in Tacoma and let them know of my address change, or will my W2 from them be forwarded to my new address? *ponder*

I had really bad astigmatism, and so i have almost perfect vision now. i wear glasses now to make things crisper, but everyone else i've heard who has gotten this has never needed glasses again. im a special case because my head is dumb.

DO IT I've heard so many good stories. And I'm happy because even if I lose my glasses, I can still see! Just not as far away :P
